Garden Ring, Bulgakov House. Moscow, 135 m2 2011

The Profitable House of the merchant Ilya Pigit on The Bolshaya Sadovaya street, better known as Bulgakov House, is a truly significant place in Moscow and one of the famous examples of Moscow Art Nouveau. In this apartment we tried to recreate the atmosphere of the XIX-XX centuries and make the inner look of rooms consonant to the mansion’s architecture. To revive the quiet place of old Moscow in the modern Moscow was possible through rethinking of Art Nouveau, classic English style and Flamant style.
